in class we have been learning about change makers and watched a movie called fly away home and we had to write a character description about a character of our choice from the movie.

cross country

My Goal for cross country is to get in the top twenty this year. i plan on achieving this by training and keeping the same pace and hopefully not walk and i will jog if i cant run.

My name is Arianna Broad, I am twelve and I live in Havelock North.  I was born in Ireland but moved to New Zealand when I was about three. I have two sisters and a brother. I go to Havelock North Intermediate. I play cricket, hockey and canoe polo.

We are learning about how to be a  change maker where we have to make a change for someone or something like volunteering at the SPCA or raising money for the poor or with cancer like you.

I think it was really kind of you to raise money for your friend who has cancer. If everyone was like that the world would be a lot better. You raised $378 dollars for a friend who had cancer and I find it very kind of you.

You are a change maker and you’re an amazing person. You have a very kind heart to raise $378. And congratulations on raising so much money.
